

As social media manager and graphic designer at Hotel degli Orafi, it has allowed me to grow in my leadership skills and gain an international perspective on hospitality and graphic design and social media strategy. I worked to develop a social media plan in which I took many photos for promotional usage and content, and I put together and established a photoshoot day including a bridal shoot, boutique collaboration with Boutique Nadine, couples photos, and dinner and drinks. I was able to contact a professional wedding photography, Makayla Mashlan Photography, to partake in this styled shoot.
From the beginning, I took extensive competitor research and analyzed the brand so I knew how to proceed. I communicated with the hotel director on my ideas and promoted various topics such as things to do around Florence, hotel breakfast and aperitivo, architecture, events, and more. I made scheduling seamlessly easy by using Meta Business Suite to post automatically and plan out posts, stories, and reels far in advance.



Throughout the shoots, I took process videos to use for content later in reels and made sure to keep the shoots on schedule and moving throughout the day. I assisted in photo direction and helped choose locations best for the shoots.

Some are shots that I have taken for the hotel in and around its location, and others are the final results of the photoshoot day taken by Makayla Mashlan Photography. The goal was to keep the photos colorful yet elegant and I strive to make the photos and compositions feel cohesive and varied in topic throughout the social feed.

By looking at the data insights from the last 30-90 days, I have been able to increase social media outreach and engagement tremendously.
Between February and April, reach on Instagram posts has increased by 92.5% and stories increased by 101%.
Between February and March, their Instagram engaged an increase of 300% in new accounts that were not previously following Hotel degli Orafi.
While the hotel continues to grow their presence online, I am happy to be a strong contributor in their success.
